What makes Ignite different?
We’re a small program, on purpose.
Our goal at Ignite is to provide an enjoyable, high-quality experience for our players and families. Season after season, for many years to come. We don’t want to be the biggest program, with the most teams and coaches. We love that our community is small, and that our players and families are able to build long-term relationships as we grow together.
We do a few things to keep our quality promise:
· Every team is capped to 9-10 players
· Every team is paired with a dedicated head coach who knows each of their players names and specific growth needs
· We don’t place as many teams as possible into each gym slot, we consider our player:coach ratio.
· We don’t form as many teams as we can, we form those of quality that we have an excellent coach to support
· Our coaches & directors are accessible and can be easily reached

We’re a small but mighty team.
Plain and simple. We work with great people who love teaching the game. Ignite coaches don’t cycle through, our staff returns season after season to continue building up athletes as they grow through the program.

When your athlete tries out, you’ll receive a placement recommendation for where we see them as best fit, whether that be on a Navy, City or Train to Compete team.
-
We have a small team of outstanding coaches. At larger programs that staff 50+ teams a season, you are right to question the depth of that programs personal & training relationship with their coach and how that may impact your athlete’s experience. Our personable staff is highly trained, loves coaching & cares about developing character.
Players & parents often share that they appreciate the energy, positive feel in the gym and get a lot of the camps that stick with the athletes as they spend the rest of summer working on their games.

Our coach:player ratio is often 8:1 or less. At the end of each week, players receive an evaluation based on the curriculum taught at camp. Direct feedback on skill implementation, learning objectives and recommendations for developing their games going forward are all provided.
