Ignite Sparks is a specialized spring training program for 3rd & 4th grade girls that builds core basketball fundamentals while preparing players for competitive travel team opportunities in the future. This program combines skill development with scrimmages and in-house games. Players will gain the fundamentals, confidence, and game understanding they need to step into the travel environment with excitement and confidence.

Program Summary:

Our girls director, Coach Jana, brings 25 years of professional coaching experience into this foundational program. Athletes won’t be run through random drills, they’ll be taught how to play the game. Great habits built early show up big time for players down the road.

Defensive positioning & communication skills
Decision-making in live play

Basketball can feel chaotic. But we have a plan. We expect athletes to graduate from Ignite Sparks with a growing passion for the game, visible progress in skills, and a newfound confidence as they head into the next chapter of their athletic careers.

HOW IT WORKS

Ignite Sparks will run for 7 weeks, starting on August 23 and ending on October 11. There is no tryout, this program is open to all skill levels of 3rd & 4th grade girls. However, there are some requirements to join detailed on the sign-up page. The cost is $625, and each player receives a game T-shirt along with practice & game participation. Both practices and in-house games will take place at the times & locations listed below.

PRACTICES

Practices will be focused on the following areas;

Ball control
Footwork & balance
Shooting mechanics & proper form
Defensive positioning & communication skills
Decision-making in live play

Practices will be led by Coach Jana & our Ignite staff.

GAMES

Games will be ran in-house & operated with a scoreboard, but there will be occasional stoppages for teaching moments & guided situations.

Game dates will be announced after registration is finalized.

We have a limited number of spots in this program to ensure quality of development. We kindly ask that you review your schedule before committing, and be sure your athlete is prepared to make

at least 80% of the Mondays & Wednesdays for practices & games.

Program Requirements:
