SHOOTING & SCORING CAMP

4th–6th grade is a great time for players to start building the offensive skillset that will shape their game moving forward. This camp is designed to do exactly that, helping players become more confident and more versatile as scorers.

Here we’ll focus on expanding each player’s scoring options. Whether it’s scoring off the catch, off the dribble, or learning how to create opportunities without the ball, players will start to understand the different ways they can impact the game offensively.

A big part of this camp is not just learning moves, but understanding when and why to use them. We’ll build skills step-by-step, then give players the chance to apply them in game-like situations through small-sided drills like 1-on-1 and 2-on-2. This is where players really start to connect the dots and gain confidence.

What players will work on:

  • Scoring off the catch (shooting, attacking closeouts)

  • Creating shots off the dribble

  • Footwork and body control to create space

  • Playing without the ball and setting up scoring opportunities

  • Finishing at the basket in different ways

  • Understanding when and why to use different moves

Who it’s for:

Players who want to improve their skills, compete, and gain confidence in how to apply what they’re learning in game situations.

Early-Bird: $245 ($315 after May 15)

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes, of course! Parents are welcome to stay to observe any part of camp. We leave the teaching & coaching entirely to our staff, but finding a spot in the gym to sit & watch is welcomed.

We host an awards ceremony at the end of each camp, and parents are encouraged to stop in for the last 10-15 minutes on the last day and participate in the award ceremony.

  • Our camps are designed to be more than just a day-care style experience. Our teaching curriculum is intensive, with a goal of guiding players towards packing a ton of basketball learning & skill building into the few days that they’re at camp.

Players & parents often share that they appreciate the energy, positive feel in the gym and get a lot of the camps that stick with the athletes as they spend the rest of summer working on their games.

  • We serve all levels of play at camp, but participating athletes should first demonstrate an interest in basketball & being coached before registering for a camp.

Players are frequently organized into smaller groups by age, ability and gender throughout the week to ensure they receive a development experience fit to their ability & needs.
