SHOOTING & SCORING CAMP

When players are first getting into basketball, the environment matters just as much as the instruction. Our goal with this camp is to create a positive, high-energy setting where athletes can build confidence while learning the game the right way.

We want players to not only improve, but to enjoy coming to the gym each day, compete with others their age, and start building a real love for basketball. Throughout the week, we’ll focus on the core fundamentals that set players up for long-term success. At this stage, it’s all about building good habits early and helping players feel more comfortable and confident with the ball in their hands.

What players will work on:

  • Ball handling - using both hands and improving overall control

  • Getting comfortable dribbling in different situations and learning to keep their eyes up

  • Basic footwork, including pivots and understanding when and why to use them

  • Attacking the basket and learning a variety of simple finishing moves

  • Shooting form and mechanics

  • Making shots around the basket to build confidence and consistency

Who it’s for:

Any athlete looking to grow their skills and foster a love for the game!

Early-Bird: $195 ($245 after May 15)

Frequently Asked Questions

  • All your athlete will need is a basketball + water bottle!

  • Yes, of course! Parents are welcome to stay to observe any part of camp. We leave the teaching & coaching entirely to our staff, but finding a spot in the gym to sit & watch is welcomed.

We host an awards ceremony at the end of each camp, and parents are encouraged to stop in for the last 10-15 minutes on the last day and participate in the award ceremony.

  • Our camps are designed to be more than just a day-care style experience. Our teaching curriculum is intensive, with a goal of guiding players towards packing a ton of basketball learning & skill building into the few days that they’re at camp.

Players & parents often share that they appreciate the energy, positive feel in the gym and get a lot of the camps that stick with the athletes as they spend the rest of summer working on their games.

  • We serve all levels of play at camp, but participating athletes should first demonstrate an interest in basketball & being coached before registering for a camp.

Players are frequently organized into smaller groups by age, ability and gender throughout the week to ensure they receive a development experience fit to their ability & needs.
